Safe Working Lifts is an independent, engineer-led lift company covering the South of England. We’re growing, and we’re looking for experienced Lift Engineers to join the team.

We believe experienced engineers should be listened to, supported and valued, not just measured by the number of jobs on their screen. As an independent company, you get fewer layers of management, more say in how the job actually gets done, and direct access to experienced leadership who understand the realities of the work.

The role

• Service and repair a range of lift equipment across the South coast
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
• Deliver a high standard of customer service on every job
• Take part in an out-of-hours call-out rota (evenings, weekends and holiday periods)
• Work on a range of MOD, council, commercial and domestic contracts

• Up to £45,000 basic, plus overtime and on-call – door to door

What we’re looking for

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Proven lift engineering experience
• Valid UK driving license
• Willing to travel across the South coast and surrounding areas
• Able to pass an enhanced DBS check, and to obtain SC (Security Check) clearance this requires a minimum of 5 years’ UK residency. We’ll support you through this process.
